A full-page AI agent that works across all the files in a project. It can search, create, edit, rename, move, copy and delete files — and shows every proposed change for your approval before anything is saved.

Opening the Workspace Agent

  1. Open the folder (project) you want the agent to work in.

  2. Click the 🤖 Assistant button.

  3. The agent opens as a full page, scoped to that folder and everything beneath it.

Tip: while using the inline Document AI Assistant, click 🚀 Workspace Agent to escalate the task to the full agent without losing your place.

The interface at a glance

The screen has a chat panel on the left and a work panel on the right with three tabs:

  • Suggested changes — every file the agent proposes to create, edit, delete, rename, move or copy. Nothing here is saved yet.

  • Diff — a line-by-line comparison of the selected file (before vs. after).

  • Log — the agent's live activity: which tools it ran and what it found.

Making a request

  1. Type what you want in the chat box — e.g. "Create an About page and link it from the menu".

  2. Optionally attach files (drag-and-drop or the attachment button). Max 10 MB per file. Images are supported.

  3. Press Enter or click Send. The agent starts working and streams progress into the Log.

  4. Press Esc at any time to cancel the current request.

Tip: be specific about the goal and any constraints ("keep the existing API", "only change files under /news").

Reviewing & approving changes

The agent never writes to disk on its own. In Suggested changes each file is tagged with what will happen: New, Modified, Delete, Rename, Move, Copy (and folder equivalents: rename / move / delete folder).

  • Inspect a change — select a file to open its Diff. Toggle between inline and side-by-side, and step through changes with previous/next.

  • Accept or discard per file — approve only the changes you want.

  • Accept all / Discard all — apply or throw away everything in one click (confirmation required).

  • Revert — undo a change you already accepted.

Note: if a file changed on disk after the agent proposed its edit, it is flagged as a Conflict and is not accepted by "Accept all". Review it manually first.

Chats (sessions)

  • New chat — start fresh (current chat saved automatically).

  • Select chat — switch between saved conversations.

  • Rename / Delete chat — keep the list tidy.

  • Cleanup — delete all chats older than 30 days in one action.

Cost & usage

  • The header shows the cost of the current session.

  • It also shows your AI usage this month against the monthly limit (default $100, resets on the 1st).
