An overview of the packages Docly ships with — what each one provides and when to install it.
Developer packages
These packages give you the tools to build in Docly. Install them when you are creating schemas, templates or code.
Developer Tools — schema designers, code editing, the basics for building anything custom in a workspace. This is the package the Getting Started tutorial installs.
File Storage — adds upload of binary and image files. Install when documents in your workspace need attachments or media.
Docly Package Releaser — the tool used to release new versions of a package. Install it into a package workspace to make that package installable elsewhere. See Publishing a package.
Installing a package
Open the workspace properties
Go to the Packages tab
Click Add Package, pick the one you want, and click Install
Files from the package are copied into your workspace. You can install third-party packages the same way, or build your own.
