Configuration

Configure your Docly site — site.json, security headers, and the special Folder/Root mappings.

Site.json config file

Configuration reference for site.json – controls minification, HTTP headers and URL rules per site.

The "Folder" folder

Place all the default files for all folders except the root folder here. If you have a folder somewhere, the contents in this folder will be available there.

The "Root" folder

Place all the default root files and folders you would like to include in your site in this folder.

Security Headers in the headers.json file

The headers.json file is the legacy configuration format for HTTP headers in Docly. New sites should use the headers property in site.json instead. The headers.json file is still read by Docly for backwards compatibility, but no new features are added to it.
